A TV show, Living Smart, invited Dr. Raul Cuero, an inventor and microbiologist to talk about his life and creativity. He was born in a small town where many black people live together. However, he moved to a big city where many different people live in which make him to face racism and other prejudices. Rather than let it effected him badly, he took it as a benefit and motivation to improve himself. This makes him challenge himself to do something that people think he cannot do so that they change their view of him.

During his interview, he mentions about his grandmother and labels her as a mentor. He said she told him to be good and respect people to make a protection for him so that he does not overreact to things. This reminds me of my mentor, Mrs. Schultz. She was my coordinator when I was in a high school. She always told me to love everyone including people that I do not like. As Raul Cuero and Mrs. Schultz said, we should love people and accept any opinion from them to make a shelter for ourselves.

Doctor Raul teaches me not only how to live positive and be a mentally strong person, but also what creativity is. According to him, being a good observant of nature leads to be a creative person. Because everything is from nature and people get ideas from everything. He also emphasizes about the importance of being in nature and be away from technologies. Not many people realize how great nature is since they use electronic devices all the time. Sometimes, we should take time to be thankful for nature by forgetting about the "online world".

Hello,

My name is Myungee Kim, Ocean💙. I am from Korea and I love💖 Korea, Korean food, Korean language, and my dog🐶 in Korea. This is my 2nd semester at University of Tampa. Currently, I am majoring in Sport Management, but I want to change into a different major. I do not know what I want to do in the future yet. Hopefully I can find that out soon.

Since I added this course late, my first class was the second class of the course. So I started off without knowing anything about this course beside that I have to make a blog. Before the professor came in to the classroom, the classmates were talking about the blog and it sounds like homework for this class; so I had some idea about this blog. After the class, talking with professor🙋 and getting syllabus make me comfortable with this course.

I want to do some artistic works🎨 through this course so that I can explore my creativity. Also it would be great👍 if I learn some kinds of technology that I can use it in the future. Lastly, of course, I am expecting get a good grade💯 in this class.
